God Your Word states that Jesus Christ is the Head of the body of Christ. That is an eternal and settled fact. But Lord why is it that so many Christians I have known have had a such a hard time finding a local church home where they are glad to stay and served for many years? Please give me a little insight about this and lead me to help improve these matters for those who will come behind me.
God there are many kinds of local churches and denominations. During the past decades I have been a member of a wide range of these. Why do they not communicate, collaborate and coordinate better when it comes to community outreach and other matters. God those young people in their teens and twenties are online many hours each week. They are interacting with a wide range of materials for a variety of purposes. During the coming years I ask You to make a way for me and the ministry You birth from me to intersect their online paths. May the Good News of Your gospel message be presented in ways that are appealing and compelling. May You draw them to saving faith. May they gracefully grow in their faith. May we work together to trust and obey the Lord Jesus Christ. May You form us into flexible teams that fulfill Your great commission for Your glory.
